Even though Schenna is right in the middle of things, the hotel itself is in a really quiet spot. It feels family-run, and they pay great attention to details. Our room wasn't in the newer part, but it was in good shape and very clean. Nothing we asked for was a problem, whether it was something extra at breakfast, a hiking recommendation, or a shower on the afternoon we left.

The Alps and Meran views are stunning, and the hospitality was exceptional. We did stay in an older room, though, and its decor didn't match the photos advertised on the website.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty to choose from, lots of regional products, everything freshly prepared, and wonderfully friendly service. We stayed at the Nachtigall for nearly two weeks in April in the Vista apartment with our two little ones, aged one and three. It was spotless, in a lovely setting, and very reasonably priced. We all felt at home as soon as we arrived. Johanna and Markus were so warm and welcoming, and made the holiday feel perfect. We're completely happy with our stay, would recommend it to couples and families, and would love to come back. Thanks so much, Johanna and Markus, for a wonderful holiday!

Having a cappuccino in the conservatory and looking out over Merano was my personal highlight. The location was fantastic, and our cozy, clean apartment had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and being able to use the bar was a lovely extra. From the first minute, we felt the whole family's warmth and friendliness. Thank you for such an unforgettable vacation! ♡

The bus stops for the mountain lifts are an easy walk away, and there was plenty of parking. This is a beautifully located hotel run by a very nice family. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
