Residence Wiesenhof

The balcony was wide and comfortable, a lovely place to sit and take in the view. Our bathroom was spacious and had a nice window looking out over the meadow. There’s a lift, plenty of room to sit outside, and it’s accessible for people with mobility impairments. The place is tidy, well designed, beautiful, and solid, with everything you need, though it’s not especially new or chic. The views above Schenna are stunning, and there’s a wonderful meadow next door. The pool is new and nice, and having a car is recommended. It’s cozy, relaxed, and friendly, and the Waalweg is nearby, though getting there involves a bit of an uphill climb. Thank you!

The bus stop is close, and buses are free to use with the Merancard. We had very friendly contact with the landlord. There’s a bread roll delivery service, or you can book a very good breakfast at Hotel Gutenberg, just 5 minutes away. Guests can also use the indoor pool at Residence Krone across the street. The accommodation is lovely and clean, with a fantastic view and a wonderful pool, in a great spot above Schenna.

We stayed for 11 lovely days in the Wiesenhof holiday apartment, which has a separate bedroom. It’s a very spacious place with practical furnishings, a great bathroom, and a separate large toilet. The kitchenette includes a dishwasher and Nespresso machine. You can step out onto the balcony from both the bedroom and living room, and the view is breathtaking. My favorite part was the new infinity pool, perfect after a demanding hike. Franz was very accommodating, and I appreciated being able to choose flexible arrival and departure days instead of having to book Saturday to Saturday. The bread delivery service was handy, and the apartment was cleaned and supplied with fresh towels and bed linen after 3 to 4 days. A lovely holiday home I can highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the apartment layout and had a fantastic time. It was all very clean, with flexible check-in and departure times, covered parking, and a small playground for children. There’s also a pool, sauna, and steam room.
