The little reading nook in the mezzanine lounge was my favourite place to settle in with a book. It felt peaceful and cosy, and was hard to leave. The views from every window are like postcards, and there's room for the whole family if you're after an Under the Tuscan Sun kind of escape. The nearby villages are charming and worth a visit, but I loved slowing down at the house: long lunches, dinner outside by the pool at sunset, and that relaxed Tuscan feel. Bring local provisions before you arrive. Once you're there, you won't want to head out again.

We had a beautiful long weekend with friends. The owners were so kind and supportive, and everything went perfectly. "Poggio fra gli ulivi" is a lovely way to get a taste of the Tuscan spirit, highly recommended.
