We felt welcome and looked after throughout our stay. Cristina's hospitality was wonderful, and the lodge's beautiful mountain surroundings and special atmosphere made the visit amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you so much!

The walk up from the parking lot below takes about 1.5 hours and is uphill the whole way. It's manageable, though, and the views along the climb, especially from the summit, make the effort worthwhile. Once at the refuge, we found a fantastic setting and delicious food, brought out quickly despite the packed restaurant. They even brought us a jug of water, which we really appreciated. The menu has pasta with different sauces, including the venison ragù we chose, plus plenty of mains with polenta, such as goulash, various game, and char. There are side dishes and desserts as well.
