Residenza Domino

Everything felt clean, which made a big difference. The apartment is all wood inside, and the setup is simple and practical, especially the bathroom. It has Wi-Fi and TV, plus a wonderful view. There's indoor parking for one car per apartment, and the nearest shop is only about 10 metres away. Absolutely great accommodation.

Selva di Cadore is a little gem, with everything we needed in the village: an ATM, pharmacy, mini-market, bar and ice cream shop, pizzeria and restaurant, petrol station, and self-service laundry. It is also a great spot for reaching the mountains quickly, and in our opinion they're the most beautiful in the world. Mr. Romanelli sent us all the information we needed for a wonderful holiday, even though we didn't get to meet him in person. Thanks as well to Mrs. Angela and the helper whose name we didn't catch. They responded promptly to a few requests and sorted them out effectively. We stayed in the Campanula attic apartment in August 2024, two adults and a teenager, and really enjoyed our time at the Domino residence. The laundry room has washing and drying facilities, there's a garage parking space and a cellar for each apartment, and the building has a modern elevator. The attic has a large living room with a very comfortable sofa, a kitchenette, two bathrooms with multifunction showers, a double bedroom, and a mezzanine with two single beds. The low beams made the mezzanine perhaps more suitable for younger children, but our daughter liked it anyway and enjoyed looking at the starry sky through the two skylights. The heat was a shame, though. Even in the mountains it wouldn't let up, and we got a bit hot in the attic.

Apartment 4 (Genzianella) was very nice, and we found the garage handy and the elevator excellent during our week-long stay. The wall lights need attention since nearly all of them were loose. Cleaning could also be more thorough, especially on the sofa and under the beds. Apart from that, everything was fine. Thanks, and maybe we'll be back!
