Wellness Residence Villa Leck

We loved our stay at Villa Leck. The apartment was very spacious, and the balconies looked out over the Dolomites. Each apartment has a garage parking space, there's a free shuttle to the ski lifts each morning, and you can ski out. The spa, including the indoor heated pool, was wonderful.

Elena was quick to answer our questions and shared useful tips about the area. We also made good use of the spa, with its sauna, steam room, big pool and relaxation space. Our group of five had a comfortable week in a roomy three-bedroom apartment, each bedroom with its own bathroom, plus a nicely furnished living room and kitchenette. We’ll be back!

The upstairs neighbors were noisy once in a while, which was our one real irritation. Still, it was a rare break in an otherwise calm stay at Wellness Residence Villa Leck. Elena gave us a lovely welcome, and the rooms were roomy and very clean, with nice bathrooms, strong showers, and beautiful views. The little kitchen was efficient and had what we needed, though it’s more suited to cooking for one. We didn’t use the spa, but it still sounded like a relaxing option. With its warm feel and good spot in Selva Val Gardena, it made a comfortable mountain base.

The balcony was lovely, the bed comfortable, and housekeeping staff kind. But apartment 7 had very little cookware or crockery, and the cooktop barely worked, so making meals was almost impossible. Getting to the first lift meant a long uphill walk and two poma rides, then taking off skis and crossing the road to reach the gondola. The shuttle only ran until 10:15am, with no ride back, and the ski bus to other areas and back to the apartment was very limited. The walk back from town was extremely steep, good luck hauling groceries up it. The bathroom drying rack worked on and off, the shower was small, and the wellness pool was cold. I asked them to raise the temperature, and they did twice. We’d just spent two weeks there, and the earlier reviews gave us a misleading picture. I wish we’d known what it was really like, since we booked based on specific criteria.
