We stayed four nights last summer, and I still miss Ischia and this lovely family hotel. One of the best parts was meeting guests who come back every year and seeing the connections between their families. The hosts are happy to suggest places to visit, and I’d definitely recommend one of the thermal parks. The food was great, with three meals a day, so you can just relax. The whole place feels like home, and it’s run by the family. My mom and I don’t speak Italian, but my friend helped by texting and translating while he was away. The chef and hosts spoke enough English to make things work. There’s a bus stop right outside, though the buses aren’t very punctual, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. Our room was tidy. There was some daytime construction, but we were out, so it didn’t bother us. The dog was big, but friendly once you got to know him. We went on my friend’s recommendation. He’s the third generation of his family to visit, lol. Sorry this took me a while to write. With another summer coming, I’ve been missing the place all over again. Best :)

A little piece of paradise: three sisters and three nieces, two hot pools kept in impeccable condition, and a kitchen using freshly picked garden produce. The food is authentic, delicious, and refined all at once, worthy of a Michelin star!

The food alone makes this place a real culinary experience, up there with 4- and 5-star hotels and restaurants. There’s a lovely thermal water pool, a small whirlpool tub, and a Turkish bath with a pool that runs through it. It’s an oasis of calm and hospitality, and leaving to head into the island’s busy areas can be hard during peak periods. The family running it, the three sisters and their children, make the stay feel truly authentic. You can see how much of the place has stayed true to itself over the years. They’ve expanded without taking away its character or changing it with modern design makeovers. Once you arrive, you may not want to leave. I’d come back, even for a weekend every month. See for yourself!
