The pillows were the one thing we didn’t care for. Everything else made for a wonderful stay: the rooms were comfy, and the whole staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to lots of attractions, shops, and beautiful cathedrals. Nellie and I were greeted warmly by Alex and Marco at the front desk both when we arrived and when we left. They were genuine, very helpful, and true professionals in helping us plan our time in Venice.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety, and we had a very pleasant stay overall. We were there for a couple of nights in October 2025 on our honeymoon. The hotel is in a quiet area, about a 10 minute walk from Piazza San Marco. When we arrived by water bus, getting from the stop to the hotel with our luggage was a bit of a walk. The customer service was great: our room was quite cold because the heater wasn’t working, but they brought us a heater, which helped. They also arranged a water taxi to take us to their airport when we checked out. We’d mentioned the honeymoon when booking, and although we didn’t expect anything, a little acknowledgment would have been a nice touch.

Marco, alex, and the rest of the staff were very kind. Our room for three adults and the bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Even the sofa was okay. The location was great, and we had no trouble with hot water or the room temperature. We could have used more closet space. They arranged our airport transfer for 190 euros.

The hotel is in a good location, but the way my temperature complaint was dealt with, followed by poor communication, left me disappointed. I don’t recommend staying here. For my first two nights, the room was extremely uncomfortable, over 27°C at night and even hotter one night, making it impossible to sleep. I told reception the next morning. Staff agreed the temperature was a problem and eventually moved me to another room for my final night. Sorting out a refund for the affected nights was difficult. We had discussed a refund, but it wasn’t issued directly. After several attempts to clarify things, the payment system had to be used to resolve it.
