Hotel La Colonna

The staff and service were very good, and the breakfast was great. Our room was very clean, and there’s a modern elevator. Outside, the hotel looks beautiful, with a nice garden and a pool, plus tables for breakfast or drinks. It has its own parking, and a bus stop just ten meters away takes you to the old town. There are lots of shops nearby, including pet stores, as well as gas stations. A very good hotel, 10/10. See you again! Bye from 🇧🇦❤️🇮🇹

We liked the friendly host, who had plenty of tips and recommendations. The hotel was clean and sits just outside Siena’s historic walls, with a bus stop right outside. The pool looked refreshing, though we didn’t get to use it. The bus stops running at 8:30, and taxis are hard to find. We didn’t mind walking the roughly 20 minutes.

The bus stop right outside made it easy to get to Siena’s center, and the pool area was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and I had a good time here. The location was okay. My sheets and pillows felt a bit damp and old. For the price, I think the quality was fair.

The staff were unusually kind and helpful, and we really appreciated that level of service. The hotel is nicely located, with a bus stop 50 meters away for the centre, or about a kilometre to walk. Our garden-side room was quiet; I can’t say if the road-facing rooms are the same. The pool looked nice, but it was too cold to enjoy because it wasn’t heated and sat mostly in the shade. There could also be a few more games for kids on the garden side.
