Worn and functional, with an unpleasant, impersonal feel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Guglielmo was extremely helpful, and the woman serving breakfast was genuinely kind and attentive. Breakfast itself was plentiful and excellent. The rooms were very clean, spacious and nicely furnished, with a large bathroom and a wonderful shower. I highly recommend this B&B.

Quiet rooms were a real plus. I stayed during the New Year celebrations, when a concert in Piazza del Campo had the speakers turned up loud, but I couldn’t hear it in my room. The guesthouse is right by the heart of the city, just steps from Piazza del Campo, and the value for money is fantastic. I have no doubt I’ll choose it again if I return to Siena. I found the owners, Guglielmo and Paola, delightful and always ready to help, even with things beyond their usual expertise. They serve a generous breakfast each morning. I especially liked the homemade cake and pudding 🍮, and the very tender cooked vegetables, the sort of thing I imagine a mother might make at home. The place seems to be an old mansion, with beautiful furnishings. The rooms are incredibly spacious and have everything you need to feel comfortable: a king-size bed, minibar, electric kettle with complimentary coffee and tea, table and chairs, sofa, balcony with lovely views, fully equipped bathroom and high-speed internet. Siena’s small-town medieval charm made every corner picturesque. I want to go back. Thank you very much.

The room had its own romantic style, and the hostess was extremely kind. The private bathroom was outside the room, but its arrangement wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was good and complete. The B&B is well placed for the main cultural attractions, with lots of different restaurants nearby. It was a fantastic experience!
