The location is excellent, just off the main road in the countryside around Siena, with views and nature all around. The apartment is dated. The kitchen is small and old-fashioned, and the large, bulky dining table doesn’t suit two people. The chairs and sofa are very uncomfortable, and the bathroom doesn’t have enough equipment. There are large, heavy chests of drawers that really don’t fit the place. The washing machine isn’t in the building, and there’s no dryer. The air conditioning is the one thing that’s excellent.

Getting to Siena from La Torre di Caprera was quick and easy, and places like Monteriggioni and Buonconvento were only a short drive away. The apartment sits among olive trees below an ancient monastery, a special setting. It was spotless and carefully looked after, and the owners were kind, thoughtful, and always helpful. Highly recommend it.

We found this spacious apartment spotless, and the hosts were friendly and very helpful. It's about 3 km from central Siena, making it an easy-to-reach base for exploring the city and nearby area.

We only arrived today, but the surroundings are lovely and the owners have been really kind and attentive.
