Getting into town was easy: there’s a bus stop very close to the accommodation, and it took just minutes. We also enjoyed the pleasant walk, which was around 40 minutes. Parking right in front was a real plus for the value. Our room was a good size, clean, and well furnished. When we had a small shower problem, they moved us to another room straight away and even took our luggage while we were out. The service was great.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, but I wouldn't recommend spending your money here, even if another place costs a little more. The site says rooms have cable TV, but mine didn't, and the “Jolly restaurant” mentioned there was never open. I also couldn't find any mention of a tourist tax on the website or in the registration emails. The only notice was a piece of paper in the room, written only in Italian, saying it's 2 euros per person per day. I was expected to just take that on faith? Absolutely not. That felt dishonest and like a poor way to treat customers.

The photos gave a misleading impression of the hotel's condition, and we won't be coming back. The bathroom had visible mold and felt extremely unhygienic, which made the stay uncomfortable. Our room was much smaller than we expected, and its furniture was old and worn. We were very disappointed because the hotel didn't meet our expectations.

Our plans changed, so we had to cancel our stay at the beautiful Villa Le Camelie Siena. :( The owner got back to us very promptly and was so nice. We hope we can stay there on our next trip!
