We had lunch on the outdoor terrace after our walk, and stopped in for coffee beforehand. A great spot for exploring the beech forest on foot.

So many reasons to go: the regional food is really good, and there are trails, sights, and a spectacular mountain peak nearby. When the weather's right, you can watch gliders and paragliders launch from the nearby takeoff area. The staff could be a little friendlier, which would've earned that extra star, but I had a satisfying visit.

The food was good, but the service and setup made the meal disappointing. Our table was in direct sun, and even after we asked to move, nothing could be arranged. The waitress came across as rude and distant, which made things less pleasant. We also couldn't pay by card unless the bill was over a certain amount, and there was no option to split it or pay individually. One person had to cover the whole bill by card. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant based on this experience.

The antipasti were excellent, and we also enjoyed the pasta and roast meat. The food was simple, delicious local cooking. The restaurant was full of families when we visited.
