Le Case Al Quadrato Residence

The peace and quiet of the Syracuse countryside made this stay special for me. We woke to swallows instead of car horns and fell asleep to cicadas, surrounded by greenery, flowers, prickly pears, and olive trees. It felt like home almost immediately, something that's not always easy to find when traveling. We stayed for a week, and it was the best stay I've had in years. The independent accommodation gave us more freedom than a room, and each unit had its own private outdoor space. Everything indoors and out was cared for, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. Ortigia, with its restaurants, bars, and shops, was only a few minutes away by car, and the area's beaches were within a five-minute drive. The owner and her staff were kind and helpful, too. We'll definitely make this our base when we return, and highly recommend it.

We spent three days here, and I'll always remember them. The owners were smiling and ready to sort out any little problem, and the location worked well for both the sea and the city. Our apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, from the kitchen and shower to the bedroom. There was also a lovely green area where we could eat lunch and enjoy the quiet countryside. We enjoyed having lunch in the garden, and the apartments had all the comforts. The pool was very clean and open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The area itself is quiet, and the location works well between the center and the beaches. The owner was kind and helpful. I would have liked a slightly bigger TV. The cleanliness wasn't quite up to scratch, though. We had to call when we arrived and ask for the place to be cleaned again.
