We found the B&B spotless, with a generous breakfast and a large, comfortable room where we had plenty of space to lay out our luggage. The bed was big, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. There’s a lift to the first floor, so getting our bags upstairs was easy. The whole floor had been tastefully refurbished, and the bathrooms were the best we had during our time in Sicily. Everything worked and still felt new, as if the place had been carefully looked after. There was a kettle for tea, and the host quickly brought us coffee when we asked. She was very friendly, too. When we stayed in May 2023, she told us the B&B was three years old. It’s very close to Ortigia and the Neapolis Archaeological Park, both well worth visiting. I’d recommend staying here in Siracluse.

The apartment felt very modern, and our room was quiet because the windows faced the inner yard. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was very clean, and the air-conditioning worked well and could be controlled individually rather than centrally. Let them know what time you’ll arrive, or you may have to wait for the staff to show up. The woman there during our two-day stay spoke very little English, which was inconvenient for tourist accommodation, though she could use a translator on her phone. Breakfast included sponge cakes, crackers, jams, croissants, bananas, pears, yogurt, nuts and cornflakes. There was no fresh bread or butter. They also let us leave our luggage there until late afternoon on departure day, which we really appreciated.

The place was new and clean, and it’s close to Ortigia. Breakfast was really limited, with no fruit or fresh bread, just supermarket cake and a croissant. The owner’s English wasn’t very good, and nobody offered suggestions about what to see or do. We’d probably expected a bit more.

A newly renovated apartment in a great spot, with an elevator. It’s within walking distance of both the train station and the city centre, and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The rooms were the highlight for me: clean, modern, and nicely arranged. The location was okay, with Ortigia not too far away.
