Hotel Marconi

Being able to drive into the old town and leave the car in the owners’ parking area felt like a real luxury. Just remember to call and reserve a space so they can add your car plate to the system. Without that, you won’t be able to enter the old town. I also wanted to leave a review for the wonderful care from manager and owner Carlo and his wife. They were warm and respectful throughout, and paid attention to all the little details.

The lakefront setting made our dinner even more special, especially watching the sunset from outside. We loved the whole experience, from the warm welcome by the owner and staff to the food, which was full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. Compliments to chef Paolo, he really outdid himself. You can feel the family care in the way the place is run, and that personal touch makes a difference. We’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone after good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and genuine hospitality.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after, though fairly simple rather than luxurious. What stands out is the welcoming family-run service and the charming feel of the place. Breakfast is a highlight, with lots of fresh, often homemade choices in a scenic setting. Hotel Marconi sits in Sirmione’s historic center right by Lake Garda, so it’s easy to explore on foot and enjoy the lake views. Getting there by car can be tricky, and parking is limited, but the stay was very positive. A good fit for travelers looking for a romantic, welcoming place in one of Lake Garda’s loveliest destinations.

A real gem in Sirmione, with great views and a perfect location. I can’t remember the last time I reviewed a hotel, but the family business spirit here really comes through. The owners and staff are fantastic hosts, ready to go out of their way to make guests happy.
