The host’s warmth, attentiveness, and useful advice made us feel right at home and were what really made the stay special. We had a wonderful night at this B&B and were thrilled. The room was very clean and carefully maintained, and the in-room Jacuzzi was a fantastic way to unwind. The location is right in the center, just a few minutes on foot from the main attractions and entertainment district. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Sorrento. We’ll definitely be back!
A truly awful experience. We left the room and lost €60.00 for parking we’d paid for in advance. We used one day instead of two, but the parking manager refused to refund us. There are more problems, but I’ll stop here. I strongly advise against staying here. Ask for all the necessary details when you book, or you could end up with unpleasant surprises that ruin your vacation. When we arrived, the room manager wasn’t there to welcome us. He sent a video showing where the keys were, in a box on the street by an unlocked door. The building’s front door wouldn’t lock and was left half open. The bed had wrinkled sheets and pillowcases that, in my opinion, looked used and unclean. Its base was broken, hitting the floor and detached from the rest of the bed. Black towels with rust-colored stains were tossed on a closet shelf, not folded or put away properly. The air conditioning only worked as a fan, so we were cold all night. The hot water boiler didn’t work, and we couldn’t wash all night. There was no shower or bathroom courtesy kit. The only liquid hand soap in the bathroom had been diluted with water. The ceiling was stained black with what looked like mold, and there was a case of lupus infabula. There was no bidet, which we hadn’t been told when booking. If we’d known, we certainly wouldn’t have booked. Around midnight the room lost power, and we were without electricity all night, using our phone flashlights. The room circuit breaker looked fine, with all the switches open, as did the main switch by the entrance, so the cause seemed to be something else. We told the manager, FERDINANDO, about all this on WhatsApp and called him several times, but he didn’t answer or text us. He got in touch only around 10 the next morning, saying his workday had ended when we first contacted him.
The apartment is right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get to the beaches, main squares, and train station. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with good beds and reliable cleanliness. It’s also a good fit for families with children, like mine. The owner’s kindness and hospitality made our weekend in beautiful Sorrento special.
I spent a romantic weekend here and had a wonderful time. The big, comfortable bathtub was the highlight, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The room itself was spacious, well furnished, and incredibly clean. Host Ferdinando was very kind and available whenever we needed anything. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway, especially for a couple. We’ll definitely be back!
It’s up to you whether you want to stay here. We’ll probably come back to Sorrento because it’s a beautiful city, but not to these rooms. This is a dark apartment divided into rooms. We were in the Venere room, which had few closets and a small balcony enclosed by walls. The service was particularly disappointing. We agreed to let the man who gave us the keys know when we were leaving, and we did so after boarding the bus in Amalfi. He complained that the bus was delayed and that he had to wait for us. He refused to pay the city tax and suggested we leave cash in the room, which we did. While we still had a few nights left, he called while we were asleep and texted that other people hadn’t paid him. After we left, he sent what I consider pathetic lies, claiming we’d used the wrong towels. They were already on the bed when we arrived, as they are in every room or hotel. Only the intervention of the booking website with the blue logo calmed him down. We stay in dozens of places each year, from chain hotels to small properties and apartments. Usually the people running them at least try to be friendly or professional. Here, I absolutely wouldn’t use the property except through the website with the hotline, which can support you if the staff are rude. EDIT: They replied in the same tone they used to contact us during our stay, including the insults you can see. They’ll treat you the same way and accuse you of stealing something. Apparently, you’d have to fly to Sorrento and come back with a limited-weight bag full of groceries. Absurd. You’re a joke!
