The apartments were clean, spacious, and well organised, with furniture that suits the medieval setting while still offering the comforts of the period. Sofia responded to questions right away and was quick to help. Residence San Jacopo sits almost at the highest point of Spello, which makes it a strategic base for exploring the town and nearby area. Spello itself is a medieval town, not a city, with plenty of history and art beyond Pinturicchio, as well as traditional food worth discovering. Parking was the difficult part for us arriving by car. There are few narrow streets that cars can use, so be patient and expect to walk hundreds of metres, sometimes uphill. Spello can work well as a base for exploring the surroundings.

The service was a real highlight. Sofia and Wania were so kind and always ready to help. This is an old but well-kept stone house with wooden beams, just the kind of authentic place I like, right in Spello's characteristic historic center. It was a lovely, well-equipped home overall, though the Wi-Fi had a few issues and the kitchen was missing a few things. The thin floors also meant it was extremely noisy. Still, I recommend it.

Sofia was incredibly kind and helpful. The property itself is clean and welcoming, and its location makes it easy to explore Spello's sights on foot. Highly recommended.

She found us a room quickly, at an affordable price and right in the center. It was very clean and had all the comforts we needed. We also had a delicious dinner downstairs at the family-run restaurant. Highly recommended.
