Hotel Passo Stelvio

We’d stayed in 15 different hotels in Italy, and these were by far the worst and most dangerous people we encountered. The owners were aggressive and violent during a misunderstanding about the money. They threw money at us, intimidated us, and shouted in our faces. We had to call the police, who resolved the issue. Stay away from them. They seem dangerous and, when money is involved, willing to go to any lengths.

The rooms were expensive, there were no services at all, and they locked us out of the hotel while we were out getting dinner.

The evening service was professional and courteous, but breakfast was poor. We were seated by an outside door while it was 10c, and the vacuum cleaner was running as we ate. The coffee machine gave us cold coffee, and staff actually shouted at us for not sitting at the table he expected us to use.

We had to pay before getting our food, and the staff were rude. We ordered the Schnitzel, which looked good in the pictures and was supposed to come with fries and salad, plus a big schnitzel. What arrived was what I’ve shown in the picture, and it tasted terrible. They charged us 15€ for that meal. Please don’t go there, it’s a rip off.
