Wellness Hotel Post

The views from every corner of the hotel are incredible, and there's a large area outside with paths and benches where you can walk, including a path to the lake. The spa is on the ground floor. We loved the restaurant's buffet selection, the choices for main courses and desserts, and especially the breakfasts. Staff were friendly, responsive and spoke English. The location is convenient compared with other places in town, especially for the funiculars, which are even walkable. There's parking opposite the hotel. The interior is unique and cozy, with lots of details, a spacious hall, and an outdoor terrace beside a bar on the same floor. Our suite and the hotel were very clean. The bathroom window into the room was too transparent for my liking, though, so you can easily see the other person. The suite felt cozy overall. This was definitely the best choice for our stay, with the best price and quality balance of the hotels we considered.

The 3/4 gourmet board was a highlight, with tasty dishes and plenty of variety. We enjoyed the modern, comfortable rooms, good service and a relaxing spa, all with wonderful views of the surroundings. A perfect place to stay.

The hotel sits in a pretty mountain village, with several ski slopes and lifts nearby. It's easy to reach by car, and shuttle buses run to the lifts if you don't have one. Around 40-50 km from the hotel, the climate changes and it feels like a snowy fairy tale. If you don't want to ski, walking around the village and taking in the views is lovely. A single ride to the top costs €17, and a day ski pass is €50. I'd recommend full board. The food is great with lots of choice, and dinner is five small courses with lovely presentation and good quality. Drinks cost extra, and the house wine was amazing. The spa has a shared pool and saunas, though some weren't working, plus a lower, textile-free area with a pool, saunas and a relaxation space. There was a sauna scrubbing ritual at 17:30 almost every day, and drinks, apples and dried fruit were always available in the spa. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were quick. A magical place, I'll definitely come back.

The setting is stunning, and we'd happily return and stay longer next time. The rooms were nice, the facilities were great, and both the buffet breakfast and evening meals were good. Dinner was cooked and presented perfectly.
