At night it's VERY QUIET here, which made relaxing on the Aeolian Islands a real treat. The host was extremely kind, too. The apartment is just a few steps from the cove below, and you can see the beach from the terrace. It's also not too far from the center.

We didn't get to try the hotel, though it looked like a real gem. Giuseppe refunded our stay because of a date error. That struck me as very professional, and I thought it was great service.

We were upgraded to this house. At around €100 a night in the off-season, in early May, it was OK for the price. At the actual Booking.com price, about twice as much, it doesn't seem like such a good deal. The mattress was very uncomfortable.
