Bed & Breakfast Ristorante Belvedere

Subiaco had so much to see that our three days felt far too short. We wished we’d booked five nights or more, and we’ll be back, staying at Belvedere again. The people were friendly, the restaurants tempting, and the sights breathtaking. At Belvedere, Fabrizio brought our luggage up the hill in his cart to the rooms we’d been assigned, which had spectacular views. Our room was clean and a good size, with a shared lounge between the rooms where we could sit, eat, and chat. Fabrizio offered to bring breakfast up, but we chose the historic main dining room instead. There was plenty of spectacular food, and those breakfasts gave us a chance to have great conversations with Fabrizio. He also accommodated our dietary needs when we asked. Thanks to Fabrizio and the Belvedere staff for the hospitality!

The restaurant and rooms have panoramic views, and the food was good. Breakfast is included with the stay. There’s Wi-Fi in the restaurant, though not in the rooms, and there’s a TV. The hosts, Fabrizio and Antonella, were very accommodating. It’s fairly close to Monastero di San Benedetto and Sta Scolastica, but getting there from the bus terminal takes a bit of a hike, over a kilometre.

Lovely people, tasty food, and a great view with music. I especially recommend the lamb and fish.

A quiet, pleasant spot with great food and lovely people. I’d recommend it to anyone.
