Vittorio is a relaxed, lovely host with great recommendations ready whenever you need them. The drive from Dervio up to Il Larice d‘oro can feel tough after a long day by the lake, but the turns are worth it. Up there, the view is incredible and you’re away from the busy tourist scene along the shore. If you’re lucky, you might spot wild deer on the road. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m at Lago di Como.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the owner was polite and very kind, doing her best to make the stay enjoyable. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from the nearest town by the lake, and the road is demanding. Still, the destination’s breathtaking views make the drive worth it.

A great base for exploring the Lake Como area, with a big terrace, a fireplace in the apartment, and a charging station for electric cars. The place is spacious, cozy, and beautiful, with an especially helpful and kind owner. Breakfast was great, the views were stunning, and the property is fully environmentally sustainable.

The trip up takes about 25 minutes on tight roads, but the view is remarkable. Wittorio is a wonderful host, full of kindness and interesting stories.

Lovely owner and a lovely place. I had a perfect experience. The road there did scare me a bit, though that was just because it was my first time on roads like those :)
