Coming back each day to rest in this comfortable place made our time exploring the old city even better. It’s in a beautifully restored historic building, with attention to detail that really brings the place to life. We felt like we were staying in a small palace, and everything was extremely clean. The room was large and very comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Barbara was attentive and made a tasty egg omelette. Alessia, Martina, Barbara and Lucia were all caring, friendly, and absolutely delightful, making the stay feel extra special. The location is right in the heart of the city, with everywhere easy to reach on foot. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it as a friendly, comfortable home away from home.

The ancient building has so much charm, and the place is worth the effort of finding. They arranged the ZTL permit efficiently, but you can’t drive right to the B&B. You can get to the square or Piazza del Duomo, though. It’s inside the striking old building next to the lemon shop. The sign isn’t easy to spot, so you’ll need to press the intercom. Finding the door wasn’t straightforward, but we thought the stay was worth it.

Getting the car sorted was easier than I expected. The hostess arranged permission to enter the restricted zone, then a parking attendant met us and took the car to a private lot. We only had a short walk to the property. From there, it was easy to explore Ortigia or Syracuse on foot, with old streets, shops, and restaurants all around. The B&B sits upstairs in a very old historic building that feels like an old palace when you first enter. The reception area is welcoming, and upstairs everything is bright, modern, clean, and beautiful. There are antique pieces throughout. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a small balcony overlooking the street. Despite that, it was quiet. Breakfast was pleasant in a separate dining room, with a good selection of typical Italian breakfast food. I’d return to Ortigia/Syracuse just to spend more time here.

The location worked really well, though weekends could get a little noisy. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, breakfast was very good, and the hospitality was wonderful.

The staff made this stay memorable. Alessia, Martina, Barbara and Lucia welcomed us right away and suggested restaurants and things to do in Oritigia, including having sunset drinks by the port. They also accommodated our breakfast requests, even making my partner a mocha coffee. Since it was his birthday, they arranged a cake for him, which was so sweet. The room was comfortable and beautifully put together. The whole place felt more like a quintessentially Italian boutique hotel than a B & B. Everything is within walking distance, and the stay exceeded our expectations. I’d highly recommend staying here in Syracuse. Thank you for making it so special ❤️
