B&B Le 4 Fontane

I stayed for two days and had a room with a balcony looking out over Piazza del Duomo. The view was spectacular. The B&B was exceptionally clean and tidy. Its breakfast room also serves as a kitchen, with a coffee machine and pods, toast, fruit juices, and a range of jams. I noticed a Wi-Fi modem there but didn’t use it during my short stay. The stairs are a little narrow, though that seems understandable in a historic building.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the place is affordable and right in the center of Taormina. My only small gripe is privacy: I think there were three or four rooms, all on the same floor and looking onto the same kitchen. Otherwise, it’s a really nice place.

What a room, and that view of the Duomo! B&B was fabulous, well done Fabio. Once you pass Porta Catania, you’re surrounded by history and beauty.

A lovely B&B in Taormina’s historic center, with staff who were extremely friendly. My only disappointment was breakfast. I’d suggest arranging a deal with a local café so guests can try some traditional food and desserts.
