We liked it enough to come back for a second stay. The owner is warm, pleasant, and very attentive to details. The rooms are in the old town and have an antique feel, so don't expect a luxury place on a hilltop and then leave a bad review because of it. It's an authentic, pleasant place, with a great location, helpful staff, and clean rooms.

The entrance could really use a proper sign, as some other reviews have said. Still, I had a lovely stay. The hostess was incredibly friendly and spoke good English, and my spacious room felt like part of a real home. It had air-conditioning, and breakfast was included. If you're visiting Taranto on a budget, this is a great place to go.

Clean rooms and a kind, welcoming host made this an amazing place to stay in Taranto. What more could you ask for?

For a low price, this hostel gives you a lot: a great location, a kind owner, and a really nice breakfast included in the room price. Amazing value.

I was at the right address, but there was no hostel name on the doorbell and no sign saying Ostello or hostel. I guessed it had gone out of business. The phone rang once when I called, then disconnected. Such a shame, it seemed like a great spot for a hostel.
