Palazzo Malaspina

The view from my room was stunning, and I spent time reading on the balcony and in the garden. The hosts, a lovely couple in their 80s or perhaps older, have so many stories to share if you have time. The team helping them run the place was just as warm and lovely. The property has the feel of a Renaissance-era building, updated with air-conditioning and modern bathrooms, a nice balance of history and comfort. Check my pics for a sense of it. Plan on staying a few nights, and don’t miss dinner at the restaurant right next door.

We’re already looking forward to coming back. Our room had loads of space, a big bathroom, and a really comfortable bed, all in a fantastic location. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, and even arranged our bike hire. Thanks to Matteo, Gabriele, Maria, Georgi and Mary for taking such good care of us, especially Mary for the delicious breakfasts. My husband and I can’t recommend this B&B highly enough.

The hosts got in touch before our stay to help us with everything, and Mery was so helpful while we were there. We loved the breakfast, and our room was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We liked this hotel so much we’d visit again and again.

Maria was a gracious host, and her breakfast was wonderful. The staff took great care of everything we needed, and we appreciated the bottle of wine waiting in the room. Palazzo Malaspina was just right for our first trip to Tuscany and met all our expectations. We’d highly recommend it.
