The grounds and pool were lovely, quiet, clean, and well looked after, and the staff were friendly throughout. Frederica at reception was especially kind and helpful. Three nights felt just right, though having a car is important. Taviano itself is very quiet, but we always found somewhere to park on the street. The two things that kept this from a five-star stay were the food and the noise. We paid extra for a terrace and garden view, but the terrace was shared and looked over the restaurant, which got loud until 1 a.m. on Saturday. The room didn't block much sound. Breakfast was a basic continental spread, fine but nothing special. We also ate at the restaurant, which is a separate business, and were disappointed with the food. The wine was nice and the service was great, but we had better meals elsewhere.

Our deluxe apartment felt like a home away from home: roomy, modern, comfortable, and well equipped. The hotel's landscape has a distinctive character that brings together its style and local identity, and we loved spending the evening in the lush garden. The restaurant served tasty gourmet food. I passed one comment along to a manager, though it wasn't a complaint. The team made the whole stay special, from welcoming us at the start to sending us off with water and cookies for the drive back. Everyone was kind and helpful. This was the best hotel of our trip so far, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. I'm glad it became part of Accor family and that this gave me the chance to get to know them.

Taviano's city center is adorable, and Relais San Martino is an authentic hotel with a wonderful team. We had a relaxing, flawless break and felt looked after from the moment we arrived. They showed us around the property and shared the building's history, then made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing for the rest of our stay. Gaetano, Antonio, Federica and Luca, thank you for making the experience so memorable and for going beyond what we expected. You made us feel like queens!

Four nights of peace and slow living, just what we needed. Everything was lovely, and the staff took such good care of us. They even surprised us with a wonderful cake for our son's first birthday. Breakfast on the terrace was incredible. We'd happily recommend this place. Thanks again for such a special stay.

Taviano is a sweet little village, though it's small. We found some amazing restaurants there, including Filorosso, Grani del Borgo and Palazzo Marchesale. You'll want a car unless you're content to stay around Taviano. The hotel itself had pretty grounds and a pool, with a really relaxed feel. Best of all was the staff. Everyone was so helpful, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant team. Rosella was a star, sorting out transfers and restaurant bookings for us and helping us so much.
