Paolo was the last detail that made the stay so special: a generous, helpful, kind person, and someone I’ll remember fondly. The apartment itself was spotless, with thoughtful details and tasteful choices in the renovation, furniture, and accessories. Its central position looks out over the square and the beautiful gate. I loved how the old and new fit together so naturally. Reality really did surpass my expectations. Thank you for everything.

Paolo is a genuinely kind and thoughtful gentleman, and the town is lovely and well worth visiting. We had a wonderful stay in the tastefully renovated place. The food at Svinando is excellent, and the gelato here is superb. Go, you won’t regret it!

The owners were very kind and gave us vouchers for breakfast at the bar. The apartment was a great price, well furnished, and had five cleverly tucked-away beds plus hot and cold air conditioning. I was there for work and didn’t spend much time in it. My elderly dog stained the floor under the bed and we hadn’t noticed; the owner didn’t take it very well, though we should have checked, so I don’t blame him. The only other drawback was that cooking was allowed only during certain months. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Highly recommended.

The view from the apartment is the best part. The location is excellent too, though reaching the second floor means climbing some steep stairs, as you’d expect in an old house.
