La Corte di Lucina

Such a nice place, and the hosts were great too! 👍

The bed was comfortable enough, and towels were provided, but the rest left us disappointed. The shower felt cramped, and its handle came away in my hand while I was using it. There was no parking right beside the accommodation, and breakfast was sparse. We were allowed one drink and one pastry each at the Sharamba bakery across the street; a second item meant paying extra.

Pietro, the cat, is a cute little companion if you want him around. The B&B itself is pretty standard, with no special extras, though the owner is friendly and easy to talk to. It’s only a few steps from the center, which is a great location. Breakfast comes from a nearby bar, and there’s no fridge in the room, which was inconvenient. For the price, I wasn’t expecting more. The garden could use a bit of tidying. The owner is a little less approachable for personal reasons.

The staff were kind and tried to help with our requests, and our downstairs double room was very spacious. But privacy and cleanliness were real problems. The windows faced the shared passage, including the bathroom area, so we couldn’t leave them open. Over our five nights, nobody changed the sheets or towels, and the floor was so dirty we couldn’t walk barefoot. We chose this place partly for the kitchenette, but it wasn’t usable: the dishes were dirty and some things in the fridge had expired months earlier. I’m sorry, but I’m not sure I’d stay at this B&B again.
