Giovanni made a stressful evening feel easy. After we missed the last bus for the final train to Milano, we were stranded in Tirano and didn’t know what to do. He welcomed us so kindly and stayed attentive from the start. Even though it was late, he found a restaurant that was still open and contacted the owners himself to make sure they’d take us. We got dinner and ended the day on a good note thanks to him. The rooms he arranged were beautiful and comfortable, with thoughtful little details. Giovanni was warm, professional, and clearly cares about his work and guests. He’s an efficient, attentive manager with a real human touch. The hotel is fantastic, and I especially recommend Giovanni for his dedication and hospitality. Thank you for everything! I’m very late writing this, and should have posted sooner because this review is well deserved. Five stars.

We were greeted so warmly on a chilly, rainy night. The location was handy, the staff were friendly, and their restaurant suggestion was great. From room 16, we had a peaceful view over the mountain's terraced vineyards. We finished the evening with two glasses of local white wine, €10 for both. The bedroom lights are very bright, though the little side lamp helps, so it wasn’t a major issue.

It’s an easy walk from the train station, and the room was roomy and comfortable. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and breakfast was delicious. A great place to rest up in Tirano before an outing, perhaps the Bernina Express. We loved staying here.

We’d happily come back to Hotel Centrale. It’s right in Tirano’s historic center, just a few minutes from the Bernina Express. The rooms were tidy, comfortable, and nicely decorated, while breakfast had a wide range of choices. Staff were attentive and friendly, always happy to share local tips and help us feel at home. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tirano.

The staff were awesome, and the station is within walking distance. That walk would be tough with wheeled luggage, though.
