The pool and sauna are lovely, and our room was big, spotless and comfortable. It worked really well as a base for hiking, with friendly, helpful staff and very good value food. Dinner choices were a little limited if you wanted two starters or two main courses, though the price makes that understandable. One thought: the children's playroom is the nicest room in the hotel and could be part of the restaurant. The restaurant's back area is rather dark, with a view of steps and plastic chairs, so that might suit the children better.

We'd happily come back when we get the chance. The playground was a hit with the little ones, and the hotel is about five minutes from the nearest cable car. The staff are warm and quick to respond, and Alexander does his best to meet every request. The restaurant, spa and bar common area all look modern and better than we expected. Rooms are clean, with what you need; the furnishings and carpet fit the hotel's classification. There's underground parking and ski equipment storage too. Thank you!

We hiked from the hotel to Bolzano Hutte, and the location worked well for that. The rooms get sunshine all day, even in winter. I'd recommend this hike in summer, though it's also possible in winter when there's very little snow and you have the right equipment.

There's a very personal feel to the place. It's a lovely spot to unwind, and a great starting point for hikes around the Rosengarten area.
