Aldo was also a great help with local sightseeing information, and the town itself feels lively and central. The train line is fairly easy to reach and connects to all the historical sites, so I'd recommend this place for a trip around the Naples region. We had a lovely stay at Il Giardino di Tonia. Bruna and Aldo were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. Their garden has lemon, orange, and walnut trees. We tasted the limoncello and walnut liqueur made from the garden's produce, though they keep the recipes secret. The rooms have a small fridge and kettle, and there's also a kitchenette where you can make whatever breakfast you like. The catering arrangement is very flexible.

The owner was the best part of our stay. He was so kind and went out of his way to help us have a great time. He pointed out both popular places like the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii and little hidden spots we wouldn't have found ourselves. He also suggested places to eat, and the pizza was amazing, and helped us figure out how to get around. It made everything feel easy and stress-free. The B&B itself was super cozy with a real local feel. We had an amazing time there!

The owner knows the region well and was really helpful. He suggested several local restaurants and helped us plan our short trip, so we'd definitely come back. The garden with its lemon trees is beautiful, and the B&B is close to Napoli, Pompeii, and Vesuvius. You can also walk to the beach easily.

Aldo took time to explain how the house works and tell us about the stunning garden, a quiet little refuge in a busy town. He welcomed us with delicious things from the garden, and he and his wife are people we'd love to meet anywhere. We had a few days here and it was a real pleasure. The place was clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy, with everything we needed. Having a shared kitchen was handy when we didn't feel like going out. Some evenings we could just relax in the garden with Italian food from the local supermarket, away from restaurant and bar noise. Aldo gave us lots of advice about beaches, places to see, local restaurants, and other plans, and did his best to answer any questions or help with anything. It's about a 10 minute walk to both the train station and the beach, with trains to Napoli, Pompei, and Erculaneo. Everything was amazing, it really felt like home. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Torre Annunziata is a small, pleasant town that hasn't been widely discovered by tourists yet, though it has a lot going for it. There's plenty to see and do, with authentic local character, great little restaurants and coffee shops, and Craft27 if you like craft beer. The beaches have shiny black Vesuvian sand and warm water. My favorite spot was Villa Poppea, where history books seem to come alive. From here you can also get to Naples, Pompei, Amalfi, Sorrento, and Capri. The room was cozy and well equipped. I travel with a laptop and gadgets, so having a desk was a nice touch. Sharing the kitchen sounded like a downside at first, but it worked out really well. And the garden, already lovely in the photos, was even more gorgeous and atmospheric in person. Everything advertised was as described. Aldo was friendly and easy to talk to, and if you have a plan but aren't sure how to make it happen, he'll explain how. He also offered useful details we hadn't thought to ask about. That local knowledge adds a lot: you're getting more than a place to sleep, and it made being a tourist easier than ever for me.
