Pompeii Ruins Hotel

We booked the apartment shown in the attached screenshot: two bedrooms, four beds, two bedrooms with a balcony, and a terrace. When we arrived, they offered us just one room upstairs, or some dark, untidy rooms downstairs. In general, the whole hotel looked different from the photos on Booking. They also kept asking us to wait and repeating, “one moment, one moment.” We hoped everything would work out with the booking we’d paid for, but in the end our order was cancelled.

The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the front desk was always ready to help us out. For what it costs, this place is hard to beat, especially with such a great location.

A simple, basic hotel with a clean room and courteous staff. If you don't have a car, remember it's in an industrial area and about a 20-minute walk from the Pompeii archeological site.

For a cheap one-night stay to see the ruins, it was well worth it. I felt fine heading out for an evening walk after eating in town, even though the surroundings are suburban and industrial. One entrance to the Pompeii ruins is only 15 minutes away on foot, and both rail lines have stations you can walk to. The room had everything I needed: a large bed, private bathroom, towels, toilet paper and air conditioning. It was clean, with a pleasant outdoor seating area. Staff were helpful, though not very chatty. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that.
