Agriturismo Il Castelletto

Our private terrace was a real highlight, and the pool and its surroundings were wonderful. We spent four weeks at this quiet, lovely agriturismo in a well-equipped two-room apartment with everything we needed. The linen was changed each week. We can highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were very friendly, the view was beautiful, and the location was very good. The kitchen was well equipped, and the room cleanliness was okay. They don’t provide toilet paper or garbage bags, so you need to buy those yourself. I’d suggest replacing the beds and mattresses, as the ones in our room were too worn and soft, and avoiding installation work during high season.

Torrita di Siena and nearby Montefollonico felt like under-visited gems. We had a wonderful stay in a lovely location, especially beautiful at sunset. The family running the place were very sweet.

The area has lots of great restaurants, and the apartments are fully equipped if you’d rather cook or have a barbecue yourself. It’s also a good place for wine tours. I love coming here to relax and recharge. The pool is just right, cleaned every morning, with lovely water. Marina and her family keep everything very clean and are helpful in every way. If you depend on internet, you might run into trouble because it doesn’t work everywhere. I actually think that’s great, a digital detox can be healthy sometimes.
