Cortile di Venere Bed & Breakfast

We booked this B&B in Trapani, but left almost right away because of the conditions. The building felt damp throughout, and there was visible mold on the walls. Within ten minutes we had headaches and breathing problems. There was also a hair on the bedsheet, which felt extremely unhygienic. We showed photos, but the place refused to refund us. I strongly advise against staying here, I don't think it's worth risking your health.

The smell was awful, in the room and at breakfast. Our first room was tiny and very smelly, and even after we moved to a larger one, the smell was still there. There wasn't a table free at breakfast, either. We left after the first night without eating. Just awful.

A quick word of advice, don't stay here. There was a powerful, unpleasant odor as soon as I came in, throughout the rooms, breakfast area, and open spaces. It made me suspect there might be fungi. The toilet seat cover was partly yellow, which made me question the hygiene, and hot water was a problem. It took far too long to warm up, then went cold after very little use, so bathing was unpleasant. Breakfast had little variety and didn't seem good enough for the price. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and when it connected, it was too slow for even basic tasks. I can't recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. My experience was well below what I'd reasonably expect.

The room was really good and the owner was very kind. We were upstairs, reached by a narrow ladder, but it wasn't a major problem. The location is very close to the city center.
