The staff were nice...

The apartment had a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and hallway, and the building felt welcoming. Giuseppe greeted us right away, checked that we had what we needed, and was always around with advice. The location is a big plus, just steps from the port and about 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car from the city center. There are blue-lined parking spaces nearby, as other reviews mention. Make sure to buy a ticket during the required time slots, though, because checks are strict. I only stopped to unload our luggage, but when I returned to the car around 8:43 PM, I found a fine issued at 8:40 PM. I was told it couldn't be cancelled and there was no grace period. There wasn't much else to criticize. Breakfast and water on arrival weren't provided, which was explained by the fact that this wasn't a B&B.

We had a lovely week and liked being free to choose between eating at one of Trapani's many restaurants and staying in to try some tasty local recipes. The apartments are beautiful, clean, airy, and spacious, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Getting around is easy, whether you're heading to the beaches, public transportation, ferries, or the islands. The owner was a treasure trove of useful information and so kind and helpful. We're definitely planning to come back, and we’re grateful to Mr. Giuseppe for all his attention and availability. Highly recommended.

The one drawback was dampness inside the apartment. Aside from that, La Perla Bianca was a very comfortable two-room place with everything we needed for a week. It's well connected by public transport to Trapani's beaches, with bus stops for the airports and San Vito Lo Capo nearby. The port and connections to the Aegadian Islands are also just a short walk away. Giuseppe was a real help, very kind and involved in arranging excursions and other activities. Highly recommended.
