Villa Laly

For anyone wanting to be close to the center of Opicina but surrounded by nature, this villa is a lovely base in Trieste. Rachele and Luca make you feel at home, and the rooms are new and tastefully furnished. They’re also happy to help with whatever you need, including vegetarian or vegan requests. We’d definitely come back. Thank you so much :)

We only got to appreciate the comfortable bed in the beautifully furnished room with its well-equipped suite bathroom, since we arrived very late after a problem with the bed at the place we had booked. Breakfast the next morning was served in an elegant dining room, and Rachele was always ready to help with anything we needed. The weather was terrible when we left, so we didn’t get to enjoy the villa’s natural surroundings as much as we’d hoped. Its setting is also handy for visiting the area. Rachele’s husband was very kind too. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to do it again. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the villa’s rooms felt elegant and inviting. The B&B is in a quiet, green area, with Trieste easy to reach on a vintage tram that takes a scenic route.

Breakfast was outstanding, especially by Italian standards, and everything was arranged with care. The house is peaceful and beautifully situated, with very spacious, well-equipped rooms. We felt comfortable throughout, thanks in part to the hosts, who were extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay. Klaus Berger
