We came with a big group, and Rafael made us feel welcome from the start. The barbecue ribs were delicious, dressed with olive oil, sea salt, and fresh rosemary. Homemade hazelnut cake, fresh zabaione, and meringues made a lovely dessert.

Raffaele's suggestions made a real difference to our week. We had a great day swimming in Noli, a small fishing village on the Ligurian coast, and his nearby outlet tip was a hit too. Casa Danoi sits at the end of a dead-end street, so it was very quiet. We were warmly welcomed by Raffaele and his family, and our family of five had the whole upstairs floor to ourselves. We could make full use of the garden, shaded quiet corners, and big outdoor kitchen. Nina, their playful dog, was always happy to be petted. We had a lovely, relaxing week and felt completely at home with the family. If we're back in the region, we'd ask to stay at Casa Danoi again straight away.

The beds were comfortable, and the house was clean, nicely decorated, and everything worked well. There’s a big garden with a little playground for children too. The owners are a lovely family with two children. Highly recommended!

The host family is what made this beautiful B&B so special for me. I spent a week there, fell in love with the home and the family, and would absolutely recommend staying.
