We had a delicious breakfast here, and the balcony gave us incredible views over the sea. There’s also a private staircase leading down to the beach. A beautiful hotel, and one I’d highly recommend to tourists staying in Tropea.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and recently refurbished. Half board covers breakfast and dinner, which is handy, though it leaves little flexibility for evening outings like a trip to Stromboli, and lunch isn’t offered as an alternative. There’s no pool, and the setup doesn’t seem especially suited to families with children. A better fit for couples or solo guests wanting a quiet, adult-oriented stay.

The main drawback was the stairs: there’s no elevator, and going up and down wasn’t easy on the knees. Otherwise, we had a great stay. We spent three nights, with the center and its restaurants very close by, and it was easy to get around. Our room and the breakfast terrace both had lovely views. Breakfast was nice, everything was clean, and the value for money in Calabria was hard to beat.

The food gets very repetitive and is really dull. On the plus side, the view is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the cleaning is excellent.

Back in Tropea, and it’s as marvellous as ever ♡ We loved this absolutely stunning place before, too. From our balcony we could see the beautiful beach and sea. The rooms were clean and lovely, with marble tile, and everyone was very friendly. I’ll definitely come back again!
