The food and wine were delicious, and Fernando and his wife made us feel so well looked after. Last September, my Maid of Honour, her child and I spent the night before my wedding there. It was EPIC!! We’re planning to return with friends from England and my Sardinian family, and I’m already looking forward to it.

The family hosting us were so warm and welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The pool was just perfect, the rooms had views you won’t forget, and the stars were something else. The food was the stuff of dreams. I keep dreaming of going back…

That courtyard pool was perfect for getting through a scorching afternoon, and the hearty, tasty meals at the end of each day hit the spot. The rooms were a good size and well finished, and the setup really is excellent. We had a lovely couple of nights at Su Massaiu, but the end of the stay left a bad impression. Our toddler was struggling with all the travelling, so we asked to check out an hour later. They wouldn’t allow even 30 minutes of flexibility. Staff came into our room minutes after the official checkout time, and it felt like we were being encouraged to leave. That changed how we felt about the hospitality we’d been offered.

Call ahead if you’re thinking of having dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious, and the lady was so kind. It’s really worth going.

We only stopped in for dinner, but loved it. The food was so good, and you could taste the authentic craft behind it. The host and his crew were the friendliest. Grazie mille.
