Breakfast was outstanding, with homemade jams and cakes, seasonal local fruit and plenty of other choices. The rooms were charming, clean and well organized, with all the comforts you need. Outdoor areas are kept up beautifully and blend in with the classic Salento vegetation. Michela, the owner, and her sister Laura bring so much energy, joy and kindness. Their love for their land and roots makes your stay feel like a shared memory of home. Highly recommended!

The rooms were spotless and neat, and the breakfasts were a real highlight, with garden fruit, local ingredients, cakes, pastries, and plenty of homemade jams. They also take care with gluten and lactose intolerances. The property is lovely and only a few minutes by car from the sea, and the owners look after their guests with a lot of attention.

Michela, Laura, and Antonella were always on hand and thoughtful about what guests needed. The rooms were comfortable, air-conditioned, and impeccably clean. It’s a handy base for seeing Salento, with beautiful beaches on both the Ionian and Adriatic coasts close by.

The place itself is lovely, both for its setting and how clean it is. We spent 9 days here, and Michela, Laura, and Antonella helped make the stay what we’d hoped for, running the all-women team with warmth and professionalism. The surrounding locations were enchanting too. If we come back to Salento, Porta Paradiso will be our first choice.

Breakfast was a bit meager, and we watched local dishes being taken straight to other guests’ tables with no chance for us to try them. The place is charming, right below Ugento Castle, with a big garden, and everything was well looked after and very clean, including the rooms. The welcome and service let it down, though. The staff felt cold and distant, and we were left feeling completely ignored during our stay.
