We booked the spa day and breakfast after the receptionist told us about the package. We’d come to Collalbo for the U18 hockey Tournament and had a free day. Earlier, a mother and her two children had suggested visiting the frozen lake when we met at a cafe bakery in Collalbo on Monday. She lives near it, and the lake was beautiful. We ate breakfast, skated on the lake, and spent the whole day enjoying the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and relaxation rooms. We also dipped into the lake several times. It was gorgeous seeing local children play lake hockey with the dolomites in the background. Thank you for bringing the sun!😉 Everyone we met on staff was polite, respectful, and welcoming. The owner's mother came to chat after breakfast, and even though we couldn’t speak German and she couldn’t speak English, she was so lovely and warm. Skating and taking in the beautiful nature and scenery helped make some wonderful memories.☺️🥹

I really enjoyed paddling, kayaking, and rowing on the lake with the free equipment. The pool and sauna were nice too. There are lots of thoughtful touches that make the hotel feel fancy, like the vest, a pillow menu, and a games chest with board games and cards. I wasn’t as keen on the restaurant. The menu felt too traditional for my taste, and I often wanted to pick the “kinder” options instead. There are several small, sophisticated gourmet courses, which some people may like, but I’d rather have fewer, bigger, tastier courses. Solid 8-10.
