The hosts are wonderful. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the quiet and beauty of the place really stay with you.

We arrived two hours early, but the owners welcomed us warmly. The woman invited us to wait in the garden while her husband brought us coffee, and we had a lovely chat. The one drawback is that the property is almost 2 km from the Via Degli Dei trail.

The house is about 16 km from central Florence, set among the green Florentine hills, with a short stretch of dirt road to reach it. Tinaia del Glicine had good reviews, and we found a sweet, helpful woman there who was friendly right away. It's essentially the owners' home, with guest rooms upstairs and shared bathrooms. Our room was warm, welcoming, and spacious, and the two owners were lovely people to chat with. Breakfast is served downstairs: toast with jam, assorted biscuits, yogurt, cereal, fruit juices, and coffee from a traditional moka pot. It felt a bit like spending the night at a friend's house.
10/10
The owners were friendly and helpful, and Florence is only a 15-20 minute drive away. The house itself is charming, tucked into the green hills above the city. Highly recommend it if you'd like to be near nature while staying close to Florence.

The house was beautifully decorated, and Alessandra and Francesco have such good taste. I spent three wonderful days there and felt at home thanks to their kindness. It has a unique, memorable atmosphere, and I've only just left but already want to come back. I highly recommend it, I'm sure you'll be charmed by the place. Natalia
