Casa Rosada

We've been staying at Casa Rosada as a family for a while and keep returning. Antonia and the other managers are incredibly kind and helpful, always meeting our needs and often doing even more than expected. Pralongo is a peaceful little gem, almost like a fairyland, with walking trails starting right there. Wherever you look from Casa Rosada, mountains surround the village. The stream, flowers, and fir trees make the place feel so relaxing, even at night. Outside, there's a garden with swings, a BBQ, and a comfortable gazebo for meals. The apartments are stylish, tidy, and impeccably clean. They're set up for self-catering, with linens, towels, a hairdryer, kitchen equipment including a fridge, microwave, and stovetop, plus a TV, safe, clothesline, and deckchairs. Laundry service is available if requested.

We chose the apartment because it had an arrangement with the organizers of the night snowshoe hike we took. The price was relatively low, especially with sheets, blankets, dishes, and towels included, and it may suit people with modest expectations. If you just need somewhere to sleep and don't need a room, it's probably fine. For us, the experience was average. Dust made the cleanliness disappointing, and the property clearly needs maintenance.

For a bit of time in nature, this is a good option, and the price we paid was more than fair, especially these days. There's plenty of free parking, but keep in mind that the building has no elevator and the apartments are spread across two floors. The apartment felt quiet and clean, with a rustic, slightly vintage style that still worked well overall. It's family-run, and the place had what we needed: heating, an electric kitchenette, dishes and cookware, plus dishcloths and everything for washing up without buying detergent. Towels and bedroom linens were provided too, so I didn't need to bring anything from home.

We had a lovely stay in a comfortable apartment with everything we needed and a beautiful panoramic view. The owner was kind and available whenever we needed anything. The location was very peaceful, and I'd happily recommend it.
