The room was really spacious, with a lovely bathroom, and opening the windows in the evening cooled it down in seconds. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location was truly lovely. A big hello to Beatrice, who was so kind. We’ll definitely see you again ❤️

The views are wonderful from every angle, and breakfast was excellent and served in generous portions. The rooms were welcoming and sanitized. It's a strategic spot, just minutes from the most beautiful places in Tuscia. All the staff were friendly and elegant, which you don't always find.

We stayed one night with my family after a local friend booked the apartment for us at €80. I saw it listed on Booking.com for €20 less, but assumed the extra €20 was for our dogs, so I was okay with that. When we arrived, the woman seemed a bit taken aback by the dogs. We apologized for the mix-up and went upstairs. I assured her that our dogs aren’t allowed on beds or sofas at home either. The small apartment had a kitchen and a somewhat dated but functional bathroom. The views on both sides were breathtaking. The heating worked perfectly, but the place took a while to warm up and we were cold. I wasn’t happy with the bathroom cleanliness: I dropped the soap while washing my hands and picked it up covered in dirt. There was also a little jar of what I presume were walnuts as a welcome gift, but they were moldy. My son opened the cot and found the comforter inside covered in animal hair. As we were leaving, my husband mentioned those two little problems to the woman I’d met downstairs. She said it was impossible that we’d been cold or that there was hair on the comforter, and suggested the hair might have come from MY DOGS. I was embarrassed and didn’t like her tone. The apartment did stay warm overnight. The next morning she served us a hearty breakfast, but honestly, the previous day’s conversation, when she called me a liar in front of my son, had really shaken me. We’ll be back in Valentano next month, but we’ll stay somewhere else.

We stayed from August 14th to 15th, two nights for €154.00 including breakfast, and the value for money was good. The lady welcomed us warmly and was extremely kind, with tips for nearby clubs, bars, and supermarkets. The room was clean and tidy, with complimentary soaps, towels, and toilet paper. It’s small but comfortable. The only thing I’d add is a little bathroom cabinet for setting things down. The view faces fully west, so the sunsets are stunning. The property is very central in Valentano, just outside the walls. Parking in front of the entrance is free; across the street by the walls, it’s paid by the hour. Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast is an included self-service sweet and savory buffet, with two ladies making cappuccino or coffee and topping things up as soon as they run out. There are croissants, cakes, tarts, fruit juice, jams, and biscuits, plus ham, pizza, and focaccia. Available: credit card payment, bathroom, TV, hairdryer, shower, bidet, toilet paper, complimentary soaps, nearby supermarket, breakfast, coffee, information point, panoramic view, cell phone reception, Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, and parking. Not available: bathtub, refrigerator or minibar, kettle, printer, complimentary fresh water, welcome fruit, bicycle, or waste sorting bins.
