Locanda Santagostin

The staff were very polite and helpful, and the continental breakfast had good cheese and ham. It’s a quiet spot, about 15 to 20 minutes on foot from both the station and Rialto. There’s a restaurant right outside, though we ate better elsewhere. There were some issues in the room. Mold covered the top of the tub’s caulking, and the shower glass only covered about 30 inches, leaving a cramped space to shower without soaking the floor. The water pressure was good, at least. The bed felt old and springy, though still bearable. I was glad I brought my own pillow because theirs were very flat and low. The air conditioning didn’t work at first, but they managed to fix it.

We’d happily come back. The hotel was very clean, with large rooms and a delicious breakfast. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood in the middle of the island, so getting around was easy.

Vince was wonderful and gave me useful tips that helped me feel safe for the rest of my trip. The place was super clean and really quiet, so I’d definitely stay here again.

Small, very clean, and comfortable. Everything we needed was there, and the service was friendly. I’d recommend it.
