What made the stay for us was the friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is right by the canal, so the setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the medieval-style interior decor gives it a lot of charm. For a 3-star hotel, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We’d definitely recommend it for a good-value stay in a great location.

The customer service was great, and the location is perfect. Winter was the best time for our trip to Italy: fewer people and weather in the 50's. It was the best time ever. Try for a room with the laguna view, the different lights make for amazing photos. We’ll stay there again.

The canal view was amazing, and the location was nice. The rooms are small, but they’re very cozy and nice. I can’t give it more than 2 stars, though, because of the noise. There are lots of really noisy restaurants right in front of the hotel.

The staff are helpful, and there’s a coffee machine and kettle in the room, so you can have breakfast while enjoying the window view. Breakfast itself is no longer served. The room was a bit too warm, so we opened the window, but then there was noise from the seaside boulevard and mosquitoes. Rooms are pretty small, as is often the case in Venice, and decorated in an elaborate old-fashioned style. The hotel is in a very good spot between two vaporetto stations, with a direct airport connection on the Alilaguna blue line. It can be a little hard to find because the sign is quite discreet.
