Ai Tagliapietra

Lorenzo, the owner and manager, really went out of his way for us. He met us at the water taxi dock and walked us to the hotel so we wouldn't get lost, then shared a map and restaurant suggestions. When I sprained my ankle on our first full day and went to the hospital, he came there and walked me back, checking if I needed anything. He was always available and attentive. The hotel itself is small and simple, but clean and nice, with private bathrooms. I can't say enough good things about Lorenzo. You won't regret staying here.

After a full day of wandering Venice, it was a pleasant place to come back and rest. We had a room with a king bed and a single bed, facing a quiet courtyard. Everything worked well. Guests can use the mini fridge and microwave in the kitchen 24/7, and Lorenzo can put in mosquito repellent if you ask. This was the first stop on our two-week Italian vacation. The biggest plus, in my opinion, was Lorenzo meeting us at the water taxi dock and bringing us to the apartment. It took the stress out of finding our lodging in unfamiliar alleys while hauling luggage over pebble and stone streets.

The street noise worried me, but it turned out not to be a problem. The bed was only okay for comfort, though. Lorenzo was the highlight, very helpful and made the stay enjoyable. The place has the basics covered: a great location, very clean rooms, AC, a room fridge, basic amenities, and a handy common area with a kitchenette. Recommended for the value.

Lorenzo, the owner, was really friendly and nice. The place was clean, with a separate shower room that had everything needed, plus a kitchen stocked with the necessary utensils and appliances. It was very close to the center and main sights. We had two wonderful days there and really enjoyed ourselves.
