The staff were warm and helpful, especially Lara at Reception. Breakfast had a good range of food and was very good. We also loved the Venetian-style room, which was clean, well equipped, and had an extremely comfortable bed. It’s a fantastic boutique hotel, centrally located but away from the bustle of Venice.

Cannaregio gave us a lovely, peaceful and more local side of Venice, with excellent restaurants nearby. The area is beautiful and easy to explore on foot. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay, and I really appreciated their kindness and professionalism. I had a wonderful time here and highly recommend it.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived at Al Mascaron Ridente. Francesca at reception was warm and always ready with information and tips that helped make our stay better. Helena also deserves a special mention for her kindness and excellent service. She made us feel at home and looked after us so well. The breakfast was fresh and excellent, a lovely start to our days exploring Venice. This little gem has a charming, friendly feel, and we were very pleased with our stay. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and it’s in a truly local part of Venice. My room was warm, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. If you enjoy peace and quiet and a local feel, I recommend staying here. Thanks to all of you for making my time in Venice even more wonderful! ❤️

The room was clean, the staff were nice, and the neighborhood was less crowded than other areas. The hotel wasn’t offering air conditioning during this season, and our room didn’t have any. We had to leave the window open for ventilation, because with it shut the room became humid and smelled unpleasant. That let mosquitoes in and made the room noisy at night. Window screens or some other way to ventilate would have made us more comfortable. We could also hear street sounds and the TV in the next room quite clearly.
